iSew (“iSew,” “we,” “us”) operates a multi-vendor fashion marketplace available on the web and as a mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to our website, our mobile apps, and the related services (together, the “Services”).

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account & profile information — your name, email address, phone number, password, display name, profile photo, language preference, and (for sellers and stylists) shop or creator details.
• Photos and videos you provide — images and videos you upload to create product listings, your profile, or to use styling features. With your permission we access your device camera and photo library for this purpose. We only access media you actively select or capture; we do not scan your photo library in the background.
• Orders and transactions — items purchased, order history, shipping address, and order status. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your full card number.
• Content you submit to AI features— the text prompts and images you send to our AI stylist (“Lya”) and to AI-assisted listing tools (see Section 3).
• Device & usage data — app version, device type and operating system, IP address, and basic interaction and diagnostic data used to operate, secure, and improve the Services. If a crash occurs, limited diagnostic data may be sent to our error-monitoring provider to help us fix it.

2. Camera and Photo Access

Our mobile app requests permission to use your camera and photo library so you can add images and videos to product listings, set a profile picture, and use styling features. These permissions are optional and are only invoked when you choose to add or capture media. Images and videos you upload are stored on our cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud Storage) and, for product media, are displayed publicly on the relevant listing. You can revoke camera or photo permissions at any time in your device settings.

3. AI Features (Lya) and How Your Content Is Processed

iSew offers AI-powered features, including the Lya styling assistant and AI-assisted product descriptions. When you use these features, the text and any images you submit are sent to Google’s Vertex AI (Gemini) to generate styling suggestions, recommendations, and listing content. This processing happens to fulfill your request; the content is processed transiently and is not used by us or by Google to train foundation models. AI suggestions are provided for convenience and may not always be accurate — they do not replace your own judgment. You can choose not to use AI features.

4. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account and authenticate you securely.
• To operate the marketplace — display listings, process orders, and enable communication between buyers, sellers, and stylists.
• To provide AI styling and listing features you request.
• To process payments and pay out sellers and stylists.
• To personalize content and recommendations.
• To prevent fraud, enforce our Terms, and keep the Services secure.
• To communicate with you about orders, account activity, and (where permitted) updates.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to run the Services:

• Stripe — to process payments and seller/stylist payouts.
• Google Cloud — to host our infrastructure and run AI features (Vertex AI).
• Supabase — for authentication and account management.
• Resend — to send transactional email.
• Sellers — your name and shipping details are shared with a seller solely to fulfill an order you placed with them.
• Legal — where required by law, to comply with legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users and the public.

6. Data Retention

We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. After account deletion we remove or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except information we must retain for legitimate business or legal reasons (for example, transaction and tax records).

7. Your Rights and Account Deletion

You can access and update most of your information from your profile at any time. You may also:

• Delete your account directly in the mobile app (Settings → Delete account) or by emailing privacy@isew.shop. Deleting your account removes your personal data as described in Section 6.
• Request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to restrict or object to certain processing.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. To exercise any right, contact privacy@isew.shop.

8. Data Security

We protect your information with encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, scoped access controls, and token-based authentication. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data and to respond promptly to any incident.

9. International Data Transfers

We operate our infrastructure in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information will be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate.

10. Children’s Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Cookies and Analytics

On our website we use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email.
